Google Finance Replaces News Box With Ads

I am hearing reports that Google Finance has replaced the News section on the right panel with an advertisement box. I checked Google Images for Google Finance screen shots and confirmed that in the past six months Google had a news box on the right side towards the top of a stock ticker page...
